1. CHRISTOFFEL-BLINDEN MISSION/ CHRISTIAN BLIND MISSION
CBM international is the partner of SSHBHA. Areas and kinds of support from CBM are:
a. Purchase of machineries that the association has been utilizing at its training and demonstration center;
b. Financing for the implementation of urban poultry breeding project;
c. Covering the SSHBHA’s recurrent administrative expenses partly;
d. Providing financial and technical support for capacity building;
e. Contribution towards some staff salary
f. Funding support for awareness creation program
2. MANOS UNIDAS
Manos Unidas (Spain) is another partner organization providing financial support to the implementing organization/SSHBH/. These include:
a. Purchase of machinery for use by the association’s Training and demonstration center;
b. Purchasing of office equipment for office use by the association;
c. Funding support for purchase of educational materials for training project;
d. Contribution for some trainers salary 3. SONNEHEERDT INTERNATIONAL
Sonneheerdt, for visually impaired and blind from the Netherlands has become a new partner that has been providing financial and technical support for SSHBHA in the areas of:
a. capacity building
b. preparation of the five years strategic plan (2007-2011) and yearly operational plans
c. implementation of the strategic and operational plan
4. DARK AND LIGHT BLIND CARE
Dark and Light Blind Care from the Netherlands has been providing funding support for the joint project at Butajira that has been under implementation by Grarbet Ldekuman Project and SSHBHA.
5. INTERKERKELIJKE STICHTING ETHIOPIE/ERITREA (ISEE) AND THE THREE AID FOUNDATION (TTAF)
ISEE & TTAF are supporters of SSHBHA from the Netherlands. They have been providing funding support of SSHBHA’s carpet making and Weaving Training project. Including purchase of weaving and carpet making loom equipments and woodwork machine as well as contribution towards the salary of some trainers.
6. IEFA (Ireland Ethiopian Friendship Association) has been providing mobility appliance to SSHBHA for distribution to PwD’s in Ethiopia.
7. TTAF (The Three Aid Foundation)
TTAF (The Three Aid Foundation) a Netherlands based organization, besides supporting carpet making and weaving project jointly with INTERKERKELIJKE STICHTING ETHIOPIE/ERITREA (ISEE),
- They provide Salu with assistive appliances for the blind in continued basis. Namely, guide canes, slates and styluses.
- They are paying full salary of one sales person.
- Funded an income generating scheme for street children by way of providing them with shoe shining boxes and accessories produced by our organization and distributed in collaboration with Hope Enterprise.
